Position Summary: 

NPS Prism has experienced tremendous growth as a standalone software and data business over the past few years and is making the leap from being a consulting-led business to a technology-led business. Given that shift, we are looking to build our team with world-class team members to help drive business growth to its full potential in this next phase. This is a great opportunity to help build the largest startup owned by Bain & Company and take NPS Prism into the future. 

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Data Scientist II specializing in Large Language Models (LLMs) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong backgroud in Python with OOPS, LLM & GenAI and Multi-Agent Chatbot, machine learning, natural language processing, and a proven track record of deploying LLMs to solve real-world problems.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and deploy LLM-based solutions to address various business challenges. 

  • Design, build, and optimize machine learning models, particularly focusing on LLMs such as GPT, Llama, Flan – T5, and similar architectures. 

  • Designed and developed LLM-based chatbot solutions leveraging RAG, multi-agent architectures, quantitative analysis modules, and automated report generation. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams 

  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product and Technology teams on further build out of analytics architecture.   

  • Conduct research and stay up to date with the latest advancements in LLMs and NLP

  • Analyze and interpret complex data to provide actionable insights and recommendations. 

  • Communicate findings and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. 

  • Ensure the scalability and robustness of LLM solutions in production environments. 

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our ML infrastructure and practices. 

  • Take ownership of end-to-end projects, operating where there's a high degree of ambiguity, and delivering results within ambitious timelines 

Required Educational Qualifications, Experience & Skills   

Educational Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. 

Experience: 

  • 3+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on GenAI, NLP, multi-agent chatbot, and LLMs. 

​​​​​​​Skills: 

  • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL and Vector DB, and Github

  • Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, Langchain). 

  • Strong understanding of LLM architectures, training techniques, and fine-tuning methods. 

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Databricks) and Azure MLOps or other SDLC tools  

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. 

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. 

  • Experience in a start-up, fast-growth, rapid-change environment 

  • Must be self-motivated, dedicated to quality and must always strive to “do the right thing”
