WHAT YOU’LL DO 

Join our global Finance team as the Finance and Accounting Manager for our Brazil entity, where you'll take the lead on local financial operations while collaborating closely with international colleagues. This is a hands-on role with full ownership of the Brazilian finance function, ensuring compliance with local regulations and contributing to the financial health of a fast-growing, global business. 

Your key responsibilities will include:   

  • Oversee accounting and financial reporting in compliance with relevant accounting standards, ensuring timely execution of accounting close processes and reporting. 

  • Ensure compliance with all Brazilian regulatory requirements, including tax obligations, and assist with any Brazil-related requests for consolidation or global compliance reporting. 

  • Manage month-end closings, including voucher preparation, monthly analyses, and the review and preparation of group reporting packages. Ensure intercompany transactions are processed promptly and accurately. 

  • Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly consolidated performance reports for stakeholders and contribute to the annual budgeting process. 

  • Coordinate with global finance teams to ensure alignment with group reporting and audit requirements. 

  • Manage Payroll and Employee Expenses. 

  • Provide management and execution of activities inherent to the company's tax accounting, while managing and mitigating tax risks (anticipation, identification, evaluation, monitoring).   

  • Prepare current and deferred tax calculation. Review and submission, control and monitoring of tax calculations and tax accounting reconciliations  

  • Design and implement financial controls, reporting processes, and strategies aligned with local and global standards. 

  • Address ad hoc financial matters and perform additional tasks as assigned by the global finance team. 

  • Strengthen internal controls, drive process improvements, and ensure financial systems are operating effectively operating effectively. 

  • Monitor developments in accounting regulations; lead the study, analysis, and execution of new and revised accounting standards and assess their impact on the business. 

ABOUT YOU  

Required  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. 

  • Fluency in English is required 

  • Professional accounting qualification required (e.g., CRC - Conselho Regional de Contabilidade). 

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial roles in Brazil. 

  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian accounting standards and tax regulations relevant to a service-based, tech/SaaS company, including: 

    • ISS, PIS, COFINS, IRPJ, CSLL 
    • ECD and ECF 

    • Payroll-related taxes such as INSS and FGTS 
    • Withholding tax rules, especially for service providers and cross-border payments 

  • Familiarity with municipal e-invoicing systems (Nota Fiscal de Serviço) 

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to manage complex datasets and deliver compelling, professional presentations. 

  • Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with global finance teams and the production of clear, insightful written reports derived from financial data. 
  • Experience working with international or cross-time-zone teams.
